Customs Clearance East Coast Canada
Canada customs regulations require the shipper to attend customs in person. If the shipper is in Toronto, they must visit Toronto customs offices, And the same in Ottawa, Montreal, Kitchener, London, Windsor, Sarnia, Barrie, Sault Ste Marie, Thunder Bay, Oshawa, Trenton, Kingston, St Catherine The client will be met by our agent at the local/nearest customs office to obtain release. Then only will the goods be delivered to residence.
Customs Clearance West Coast Canada
Shippers must visit the local/nearest customs office to obtain clearance. The major cities Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Victoria, Saskatoon all have customs offices and the shipments are moved in bond on trucks and the shippers meet the driver at the customs offices on the morning of the delivery for approx. 10 minutes as they clear customs. Some of the outskirt towns do not have offices and some shippers will find themselves driving a couple of hours to the closest office for clearance.
Services at Destination
When you goods have been customs cleared our agent will arrange delivery of your shipment. Goods will be delivered to your new home, and will be placed as directed by you, unwrapped, unpacked and waste packing materials will taken away for disposal.
This only applies to shipments that have been paid DOOR to DOOR. Baggage shipments and self packed boxes will be delivered only, we will always unwrap furniture and dispose of the waste wrapping material
